GRWM [my skincare & makeup go-to’s]

[robes make me sassy]

I thought we could do a little online blog-format get ready with me. I usually keep things pretty simple since i’ve always had pretty sensitive skin that doesn’t appreciate any major changes in products. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore minimalist because it’s not like i’d ever pass up that free sample or the chance to “borrow” my sister’s palette she’s just not using. however, the products I find myself using everyday won’t break your bank. sorry, I just rather spend my money on clothes and shoes.

anyway, i’ve found that affordable products with simple ingredients are usually the way to-go. remember these are just products that have worked for me. if you want to try them, I really hope they work for you too. but they may not because everyone’s skin is different…so take my advice with a grain of salt.

SKINCARE

got to start with the right base

CLEANSER: cerave acne foaming

been using this since high school and it was a big part of getting rid of my teenage pimples

EYE CREAM: the trio

i’ve collected this trio and love them all. I usually alternate between the trader joe’s, banana bright, and Clinique. and yes the trader joe’s is nice even if it’s from a grocery store

SERUMS: the ordinary

I use hyaluronic acid in the morning and recently started using salicylic to help with some blackheads

MOISTURIZER:

this is the most random product in my routine but my mom gave it to me in high school and the rich creamy texture just works for my skin so i’m sticking with it

MAKEUP

somedays I wear none, others I go all out [always keeping it pretty simple though]

THE BASE: another trio

on the top of my hand I mix glossier future dew, Dior backstage foundation, and drunk elephant sunshine drops. the consistency of all these products is amazing. I enjoy the minimal coverage but still overall evening out of my complexion

EYES:

like I said, I keep it real simple. I honestly just don’t have the skills for eyeshadow. so if I do anything it’s just some mascara on the outer lashes

LIPS:

I like sheer lipsticks that are easy to build-up, anything too pigmented doesn’t compliment my face. I got this Dior lip oil at a Christmas sale

TONER: Paula’s choice

started using this exfoliant a few years ago and it really does make pores disappear

SUNSCREEN & Gua Sha

I use this japanese sunscreen I got on amazon called the mermaid gel. it has no white cast and is so light and airy. I love depuffing my face in the morning with my gua sha

POWDER

had never been a powder girl before but heard about the tilbury airbrush so had to try. works great in the heat to avoid the t-zone sweat

ACCESSORIES

glossier cloud paint blush and boy brow are two of my staples. I love putting some blush on my eyelids to tie everything together

PERFUME:

been into fresh fragrances lately. bought ck one in a sale bin at the airport and never looked back. also am obsessed with anything replica
